Adult Learning Programme
On behalf of Highland Council, we develop and administer a varied programme of Community Classes throughout the year in Skye and Lochalsh, though the majority of classes are held in the autumn to spring period. There are classes taking place in many towns and villages which stimulate interests and provide a wide range of learning and leisure activities.
These informal and enjoyable classes are scheduled subject to demand and utilise the skills and knowledge of local people to provide classes for learning and leisure in an ever-changing range of subject areas from conversational French to Flower Arranging and from Digital Photography to Drawing and Painting.
Would you like to lead a Community Class?
If you have an interest or skill you think may be popular and you would be interested in leading a class - do contact your nearest Learning Centre and we can discuss this further. We can offer you a modest remuneration and advice and support in planning, arranging and marketing your classes throughout the area.
