Gaelic for Marketing
Target Audience
Any manager wishing to learn basic Gaelic phrases and understand its importance to business.
Time
about 2 hours
Description of courseware
This course offers users the chance to hear phrases being spoken and see the correct spelling. In addition, it provides the opportunity to record learners saying the phrases, and compare that against the correct pronunciation, assuming a suitable input audio device. Learners will also gain access to useful Gaelic resources such as letter templates, menu cards, and prompt sheets for answering the telephone.
Pre-requisite
No prior knowledge is assumed.
Aim
This course aims to make you feel confident enough to speak a little Gaelic.
Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- greet, in Gaelic, Gaelic speaking and non-Gaelic speaking visitors
- list why Gaelic is a useful tool for your business and tourism in general
- learn about the value of Gaelic in marketing
