Learning at Auchtertyre has been planned with the individual learner’s needs very much in mind. The centre is a small, friendly and welcoming room within the Auchtertyre Community Learning and Development Centre, housed within the old school building. Staff in the learning centre are there to assist learners to explore and identify their learning needs and to encourage and support learners towards achieving their goals. The informal atmosphere promotes a positive learning experience.

The Centre has up-to-date facilities including four PCs with fast internet connection, a scanner and a selection of text books for study use. Tea and coffee is available for a small donation. 

The Learning Centre in Auchtertyre is also conveniently located next to the local authority pre-school nursery and Coniston Nursery which provides child care for children aged from 6 months and above.
