Art ProjectCourse Description
The course provides a complete programme of study which guides the student through three key areas. Students will produce and source visual imagery relevant to the project and go on to use a wide range of materials and techniques to develop ideas for more finished pieces.
The course is aimed at those who wish to develop their art and design skills and improve the quality of their work. Entry requirements
Some experience of Art and Design, Standard Grade level or equivalent is desirable. Unit is at Intermediate 2 level. Applicants should present samples of recent work where available.  Call your local college learning centre to book a place.Qualifications
On successful completion of the course you will receive certification at National Unit Level 5 from the Scottish Qualifications Authority.Attendance
We recommend you attend each of the tutored sessions to achieve success in this course, there may also be work to complete between the tutored sessions.Start Date
The next course runs for 9 weeks in the evenings, from October 25th to December 20th in Glenelg Village Hall.   Course Duration

You could progress to other art courses Full Time NC Group Award in Art and Design or Part Time Art and Design Skills - or to our part time or full time Art Courses.Cost
£80 - The cost includes most materials and equipment, all notes and tutor time, and certification on successful completion of the course.
Students are asked to supply some basic art materials at a cost of around £15.Funding
