Introduction to Microsoft Publisher

This course gives you a good grounding in the basics of Desk Top Publishing using Microsoft Publisher 2007.

Course Description

This course would be of interest to those who would like to produce leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters. Subjects covered include:

• Creating, saving and printing a publication
• Creating a flyer
• Inserting a table
• Using the Wizard to produce a business card
• Applying WordArt effects
• Working with graphics and shapes

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have experience of using a pc, in particular Word.

Qualifications

Perth College Certificate.

Attendance

This course is a distance learning course with tutor support.  It is expected that this course is the equivalent to 30 hours of learning and will take up to a maximum of 6 months to complete.

Self study at your local SWRC learning center is supported and encouraged.
