Stained Glass

Course Description

Learn the technique of copper-foiling to create a small stained glass panel.  The course will cover the use of specific techniques such as cutting, grinding, copper-foiling and soldering. Students will develop the skills required to create a variety of stained-glass projects.  The course will also cover  briefly the history of this technique and teach basic safety skills for working in this exciting medium.  This course is suitable for beginners.

Entry requirements

Entry is at the discretion of the tutor - however, no previous experience is required. 

Qualifications

On successful completion of the course you will receive an SQA Certificate.

Attendance

We recommend you attend each of the weekly sessions to achieve success in this course.

After this course, you could progress to other art courses - or to our full time Art and Design Course.

Cost

£80 -  This includes, tutored sessions and an SQA certification on successful completion.  An additional payment of £15 per person is required towards the cost of materials.
