BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Licensed Premises Staff (SCLPS)

Course Description

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 now requires that all staff selling or serving alcohol receive training.  This includes all part time and causal staff.

This 3 hour course focuses on issues relating to the sale and service of alcohol including the important issue of due diligence.

The course covers;

  • Key areas of law
  • Understanding alcohol
  • Standards of service
  • Good practice for managing conflict

Qualifications

You will receive a BIIAB certificate to confirm that you have attended the training and meet the legal requirements<

You must attend the full training session.

Progression

On completion of this course you may wish to complete the Scottish Personal Licence Holders qualification

£80. Includes a handbook and BIIAB  Certificate.
