Course Description

This course introduces learners to the basics of DTP using Microsoft Publisher.

Topics covered include: using the Wizard to produce a business card; Word Art effects; working with graphics; drawing and filling shapes; creating a flyer.

Entry Requirements

You should be familiar with Windows and Word and have good keyboarding skills. Access to a PC with Publisher 2003 software is required and is available at the Learning Centre. 

Qualifications

Perth College Certificate.

Attendance

This course is a distance learning course with tutor support.  It is expected that this course is the equivalent to 40 hours of learning and will take up to a maximum of 6 months to complete.

Self study at your local SWRC learning centre is supported and encouraged.
