Professional Cookery Level 3 SVQCourse DescriptionThis Level 3 SVQ is designed for anyone in full time employment, who is involved in a restaurant kitchen. * Prepare fish for complex dishes * Establish & develop positive working relations The majority of the evidence for the qualification will be provided through visual observations carried out in the workplace. The candidates will also have to show that they have appropriate knowledge and understanding of their job. Entry requirementsYou must be in year round full time employment and working in a kitchen. QualificationsSVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery. AttendanceThis course is completed in the work place. You will also have to attend various 1 day workshops including health and safety, customer care and food hygiene. It is expected that you will need about 2 years to complete the SVQ Level 3 qualification. Start Date and VenueThe SVQ in Professional Cookery can start at any time and it takes places in your current work place. At present we are able to cover the Skye and Lochalsh area. CostWe provide you an evidence portfolio and all the documentation required to help you complete the qualification. We also provide you with a textbook and access to a variety of different resources.
