Professional Cookery Level 2 SVQCourse DescriptionThis Level 2 SVQ is designed for anyone in full time employment, who is involved in a restaurant kitchen. * Prepare fish for basic dishes * Contribute to effective teamwork Entry requirementsYou must be in year round full time employment and working in a kitchen. QualificationsSVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery. AttendanceThis course is completed in the work place. You will also have to attend various 1 day workshops including health and safety, customer care and food hygiene. It is expected that to complete a Level 2 SVQ you will need 18 months. Start Date and VenueThe SVQ in Professional Cookery can start at any time and it takes places in your current work place. At present we are able to cover the Skye and Lochalsh area. They may also be able to progress onto the Professional Cookery Level 3 SVQ. CostWe provide you an evidence portfolio and all the documentation required to help you complete the qualification. We also provide you with a textbook and access to a variety of different resources. Candidates must be in full time employment and may be able to secure funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise, especially those between 16-19. |
