Let's face it; most of us are interested in holidays and tourist destinations, so this course might be for you - a virtual holiday. If you already work in the tourist industry, are planning a career in this sector, or would like to undertake further study this could be an excellent starting point. There are three units within the course;

This course is open to anyone with an interest in the tourism industry. There are no entry requirements, although it is recommended that you have a basic level of English and knowledge of a social subject such a Geography. QualificationsSQA, Intermediate One Certificate in Travel and Tourism AttendanceThis course is part time, lasting over 32 weeks, August to May. There will be a 2 hour tutored session that you are required to attend each week. In addition, there is an element of self learning required and you will need to study at home or book a space at one of our college learning centres to allow you to complete the course.
