As part of our programme of work in the Highlands & Islands we will be carrying out a number of recruitment & retention audits and best practice exchange visits to help support local tourism businesses. The recruitment and retention audits are designed to support businesses by helping them improve their skills in recruiting and retaining their staff whether full or part time. This support is especially beneficial for small businesses that do not have dedicated HR teams to support them. The Springboard team can offer practical help to ensure that our Tourism businesses have the right staff who are committed, enthusiastic and happy to help us deliver the quality of experience our customers expect. We can help review your current practices and implement improved systems drawing from best practice. The best practice exchange visits, again are designed to support local businesses by enabling them to spend time within other tourism business to learn about their procedures in a supported, hands-on way. The visits will be tailored to meet the needs of each of the businesses participating to ensure that we match up their expectations with strong examples of good practice. If you feel your company could benefits from a recruitment and retention audit or if you would like to get involved in the best practice exchange visits; either by providing a placement or undertaking one; please let us know. |
